About This Spot

Stepping into Caffe Grana, you’re greeted by a gentle hum of conversation and the inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee that seems to settle warmly in the air. Nestled behind the bustle of Westminster’s Broadway, this café has the feel of a well-worn local haven—a place where the rhythm is unhurried yet quietly vibrant, coaxing visitors to pause and savor the moment.

The space itself is spacious and open, with touches of festive charm during the holidays that add a subtle glow without overwhelming the calm. Though some of the furniture carries the marks of many shared mornings and afternoons, the overall atmosphere feels genuine and lived-in, emphasizing comfort over polish. Songs play softly in the background, mixing effortlessly with the clink of cups and the friendly banter between staff and regulars.

At the heart of Caffe Grana’s appeal is its dedication to coffee crafted with care. Whether you order a latte or a cortado, the quality is consistently evident—a reason why many find themselves returning despite the occasional wait for a seat on busier days. Complementing the coffee, the food offerings lean towards simple, thoughtfully made choices: warm sourdough toasties, buttery pastries, or a crisp focaccia that pairs naturally with your drink of choice.

What lifts the experience beyond just a caffeine fix is the warmth of the team behind the counter. There’s a genuine passion in their craft and an openness that invites conversations, making this more than a pit stop — it feels like a small community hub where human moments unfold quietly but sincerely.

Whether you’re stopping in to shake off the pace of central London or looking for a friendly spot to settle into your afternoon plans, Caffe Grana offers a rare blend of attentive coffee culture and approachable charm, woven through everyday details that invite you to stay awhile.

Food was okay, nothing special. The crossiants were not buttery and didn't taste fresh. The hot chocolate and drink were pretty good. Service was great! They all had a radiant smile on their face and they even gave me a free pastry. The chairs were old and creaky and the tables was abit dirty, other than that it was spectacular, Christmas decorations, spacious with songs playing in the background.

cafe latte is quite good pastries (the croissant is not crispy and a bit cold at 17:00) and taste are average, but half price after 1pm!

Excellent coffee, delicious focaccia and the lemon slice wasn't bad either. The previous reviews are right - the coffee is *very* good.

One of the best coffees in Westminster! Busy little coffee shop, so at times can be hard to find a seat straightaway. Coffees are definitely quality and there are always a selection of cakes and sandwiches.

Exceptional customer service. Staff were very friendly and passionate. Some very unique offerings in store. Wish I tried them sooner.

One of my favourite cafes. Excellent coffee and food. Always a great atmosphere. Good for breakfast, business meetings, or taking a coffee and pastry on the way through the Tube stain at St James's Park. Quick service.
